Spine tingling Asia

From the Urals and Caucuses in the west to Japan in the east, and Russian Siberia in the north to Indonesia in the south, Asia is the largest and most populous of the continents on earth. It encompasses some of the most diverse cultures and creeds on terra firma. These distinct cultures have developed in response to some of the most varied geography on the planet. In addition to this cultural bonanza is a spice palette without equivalence elsewhere.

Opportunities for sustainable tourism

Sustainable tourism opportunities abound on this continent. Trek the breath-taking landscapes of the Himalayas, raft the Mekong, birdwatch in Kerala or simply enjoy the beaches. The contrasting wildlife from Panda bears in China, the Royal Bengal Tiger and its cousins that roam across the continent and the little known Gir lions of India. Asia competes favourably with Africa on the wildlife front too.

Abundant accommodation choices with low to no space heating requirements abound. Plenty of local food sources and some of friendliest and most generous people make this an experience like no other. Nevertheless, there is also a need to engage in environmental issues and to more serious issues of exploitation.

It is a land we would strongly recommend. Follow our journeys here.
