Criss-Cross Europe with us while you can

From the aurora-filled skies of Scandinavia in the north to the relics of the Roman Empire on the Mediterranean in the South and from Britain in the west to Turkey in the east, Europe must be one of the easiest continents to travel within. Trains, planes and road networks criss-cross this continent. However, it is not easy to travel sustainably across this continent yet.

The sustainability agenda

But what is sure is that almost all the European countries are investing heavily in promoting the sustainability agenda. Cycle touring routes to city bike schemes are popping up in many capital cities. Electric car charging points particularly in northern Europe are proliferating and a few companies are renting electric vehicles (EV). In Slovenia, Ljubljana city for example has an EV car sharing scheme, while at the other end of the spectrum, Iceland has a nearly 100% renewable geothermal energy source, although hire cars still run on petrol. If castles, palaces, museums and cathedrals are your thing, Europe is definitely the place.
